When does Downtown Council (DTC) collect my personally identifiable information?

DTC may gather information from users and visitors in several ways, including requests for information, event registration and newsletter subscription. Financial transactions are currently handled by PayPal and not address or credit card information is collected on this website.


When you request information from, we collect information that helps us perform the requested service. Information is collected when you send an e-mail from our web site, you register for an event or subscribe to our e-mail notification system. When you register for our subscription service, we ask for your name and email address and send an e-mail for you to confirm your opt-in status.

Other Submissions

In addition to registration, we may ask you for personal information at other times, including without limitation, when you register for DTC sponsored events. The requested information includes name, e-mail address and company name

IP Address

We may also log IP addresses for the purposes of systems administration or to monitor how many visitors access our Web site.
